Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive automation projects across mobile, IoT, and embedded platforms. You will implement robust test frameworks using Robot Framework and Appium, leverage Python and C#, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

The role requires 5+ years in QA automation, strong programming skills, and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or relevant fields
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years experience
• Act in a SDET capacity to apply technical expertise to challenging problems
• Hands-On experience working as a QA automation engineer.
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
• Experience with programming languages including Python and C# and testing frameworks (Robot Framework, Appium)
• Experience with IoT/embedded devices and mobile app testing
• Experience with software test methodologies, test planning, test automation, test tooling, and quality metrics
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or XP methodologies
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Git
• Strong experience with test automation and load testing tools
• Automation of tests, monitoring and correction
• Strong Python and C# programming – Mandatory

• Senior QA responsibilities and leadership in QA automation
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Appium
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality across mobile and embedded platforms
• Plan and execute test strategies, perform load testing, and monitor automation health
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and metrics
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
