Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 4–5 years of hands-on experience to join our Pune team. The role focuses on manual testing across web and desktop applications, with exposure to Playwright automation and bug tracking via Azure DevOps.

The ideal candidate will have strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, Linux command-line experience, and the ability to collaborate in an Agile environment while contributing to quality metrics and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met.
• Contribute to testing process improvements and methodologies.
• Work with automation engineers; assist in creating Playwright scripts if needed.

Requirements

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester with4 to 5years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing processes, test case creation, and defect management. While the primary responsibility will be manual testing, experience or familiarity with Playwright automation tools is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

• 4-5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Linux or Unix command line
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Azure Devops.
• Exposure to testing web-based and desktop applications.

Product testing.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of Healthcare workflows and DICOM standards is a plus.
• RedHat Linux, BitBucket, Git
• Experience or working knowledge of Playwright automation framework.
• Basic scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (or any language used in Playwright).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured

Education:
