Job summary

Microland is seeking a skilled cybersecurity engineer in Pune to lead risk assessments, configure security controls, and strengthen enterprise perimeter protections. You will work on firewalls, VPNs, email security, and ISMS compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with network management systems, strong documentation and communication, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Direct experience planning and implementing enterprise perimeter security infrastructure.
• Experience maintaining ISMS policy compliance.
• Deploy, test and maintain VPNs, firewalls and email security per IT policy.
• Ensure hardware and software are maintained to meet security requirements.
• Experience in root cause analysis, risk identification and mitigation.
• Experience providing cyber security continuous monitoring configuration and support.
• Generate performance and failure reports from monitoring activities.
• Experience with configuring Network Management Systems for real-time alerts and reporting.
• Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that hardware and software are well maintained and able to deal with security requirements.
• Experience with performing root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation.
• Experience providing Cyber Security continuous monitoring configuration and support.
• Generate performance and failure reports from a range of monitoring activities
• Experience with configuration and administration of Network Management Systems (NMS) to provide real-time alerting, notification and reporting of network and performance and security compliance
