Job summary

Dalmia Cement is seeking a highly experienced Network and Network Security Lead to architect and safeguard our complex enterprise networks in New Delhi. The role demands hands-on leadership, with a track record of large-scale network transformations in manufacturing settings.

The candidate should have deep expertise in routing, switching, Fortinet and other major security platforms, and a passion for building resilient, secure, scalable IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in designing, implementing and managing complex networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, secure network architecture.
• Implement and oversee network security policies, firewalls, IDS/IPS and related tools.
• Ensure high availability across on-premises and cloud networks.
• Lead incident response and risk mitigation with Cyber Security teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, Cert-In and industry standards.
• Plan CAPEX initiatives and evaluate technical solutions.
• Vendor management and stakeholder alignment with business goals.
• Drive network automation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Mentor and lead the Network & Network Security team.

• OT Security: ISA/IEC 62443 (Good to have)

Experience Required

We are seeking a highly experienced, technically strong and hands-on Network & Network Security Champion with 15-20 years of relevant experience and expertise in designing, implementing, managing complex network infrastructures and network security solutions. We prefer a candidate who is a subject matter expert in network security, network availability and network efficiency of the organization's network infrastructure while leading a team of Network & Network Security Subject Matter Experts. We prefer an individual who can:

• Lead large-scale network transformation projects preferably in a large manufacturing organization.
• Evaluate, implement and manage AI/ML-driven network security solutions.
• Manage relevant vendors and SLAs.
• Handle audits, manage and simplify Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing for IT Environments.

Network & Network Security SME who can Lead from the front with hands-on experience on:

Mandatory Expert Level Knowledge and Skills (Primary):

• Expert in Network Routing and Switching
• Fortinet Firewalls, Fortinet SD-WAN
• Wired and Wireless Networks
• NMS, NCM, NTA and NPM etc
• Network Asset Lifecycle Management

Good Knowledge (Secondary):

• Good understanding of Industrial Networking (ICS/SCADA, Modbus, OPC, PROFINET, etc.) and securing manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of IoT security and integration with enterprise networks.

Primary Responsibility

The role should be able to work independently and will be accountable for the below at a high level:

• Network Architecture & Design: Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secured network infrastructure.
• Network Security Management: Implement and oversee network security policies, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies to safeguard company networks.
• Infrastructure Operations: Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of network systems, including the networks of on-premises data centres, cloud networks, and other on-premises environments.
• Incident Response & Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Cyber Security Team for incident investigations, analyse security threats, and jointly develop mitigation strategies with a focus on secured network operations.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements which may be applicable (ISO 27001, Cert-In etc.).
• New Initiatives and Projects: Plan and propose CAPEX Projects and Initiatives in good time, propose budgets, technical evaluation of solutions and technical rating of proposed solutions.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to align network and network security strategies with focus on business objectives and growth and expansion needs.
• Automation & Optimization: Propose and implement network automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce human errors.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Lead from the front and lead by example to guide and mentor the team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.

Technical Expertise

• Expert in enterprise networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.
• Expert in network security solutions such as Firewalls. Primarily Fortinet but also Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint.
• Very Good Experience in Cloud Networking (primarily Google Cloud but also Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud models.
• Very Good Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture and Network-Segmentation.
• Good Exposure to SIEM, SOAR, and Endpoint Security Solutions.
• Good Knowledge of IoT security and integration with enterprise networks.
