Job summary

Cambridge Technology Solutions Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a proactive Network Security professional to monitor, secure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure and IT systems onsite. You will lead real-time monitoring, incident management, and security operations for critical services.

The role requires 7+ years in network administration and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in NAC, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud networking across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and cybersecurity operations.
• Experience managing enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructures and firewall configurations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access solutions.
• Exposure to network monitoring, VAPT, and security compliance frameworks.
• Experience with hybrid or cloud networks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience in data center networks supporting high-volume data transfers.
• Prior government or critical infrastructure project experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce NAC and endpoint security policies.
• Conduct regular VAPT assessments and mitigate identified risks.
• Use network monitoring tools to monitor performance, uptime, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues related to latency, packet loss, or device failures.
• Monitor logs and IDS/IPS for anomalies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Ensure high availability and implement DR and failover mechanisms.
• Prepare performance reports, topology diagrams, and audit documentation.
• Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and IPS across servers and endpoints.
• Implement security patches, OS updates, and firmware upgrades.
• Maintain ISO 27001 compliance and comply with CERT-In and government guidelines.
• Secure cloud networks at AWS VPC, Azure VNets, and GCP Cloud VPNs; manage hybrid connectivity.
• Configure firewall rules, security groups, and IAM roles for cloud infra.
• Develop zero-trust network architectures and secure tunneling protocols.
• Integrate CSPM and continuous compliance tools.
• Develop and maintain network backup strategies and restore procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and applications teams for secure deployment of services.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Network Security to monitor, maintain, and secure enterprise network infrastructure and IT systems. The candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring, incident management, network troubleshooting, security operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce network access control (NAC) and endpoint security policies.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (VAPT) and mitigate identified risks.
• Use network monitoring tools to monitor performance, uptime, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues related to latency, packet loss, or device failures.
• Monitor network logs and intrusion detection systems for anomalies or unauthorizedaccess attempts.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and implement disaster recovery (DR) and failover mechanisms for mission-critical services.
• Prepare and maintain performance reports, network topology diagrams, and audit documentation.
• Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and intrusion prevention systems across servers and user endpoints.
• Implement security patches, OS updates, and firmware upgrades across network and security appliances.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, CERT-In, and government cybersecurity guidelines.
• Secure cloud-based networks (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, GCP Cloud VPNs) and hybrid connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Configure firewall rules, security groups, and IAM roles for cloud infrastructure.
• Implement zero-trust network architectures and secure tunneling protocols
• Integrate cloud security posture management (CSPM) and continuous compliance tools.
• Develop and maintain network backup strategies, configuration snapshots, and restore procedures.

• Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level LAN/WAN infrastructures and firewall configurations.

• Exposure to network monitoring, VAPT, and security compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing hybrid or cloud network environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience in geospatial or data center networks supporting high-volume data transfers.
• Prior experience working with government or critical infrastructure projects.
• Relevant certifications must.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Computer Science Engineer or Information Systems OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, with professional certification in network security
