Technical Consultant - Cloud Security Solutions

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant / Presales Consultant to act as a trusted security advisor for enterprise customers. The role involves driving presales engagements, designing Microsoft Security solutions, and supporting customers in strengthening their cloud and hybrid security posture using Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Advisory & Presales

• Act as a trusted Microsoft Security Advisor for enterprise customers
• Lead security discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and technical deep dives
• Support presales engagements including demos, RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and presentations
• Translate business, risk, and compliance requirements into Microsoft-aligned security architectures

Microsoft Defender & Cloud Security

• Design and position Microsoft Defender for Cloud (CSPM, CWPP, compliance management)
• Architect and position Microsoft Sentinel solutions
• Advise customers on multi‑cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP) using Defender for Cloud

Identity, Threat & SOC Enablement

• Support threat detection, investigation, and response using Microsoft Defender XDR
• Position Microsoft Sentinel for SOC modernization, SIEM/SOAR integration, and automation
• Assist customers in building and improving their security operations capabilities

Architecture & Best Practices

• Promote Zero Trust and Secure by Design cloud security architectures
• Review existing customer architectures and provide risk‑based security recommendations
• Enable DevSecOps, cloud governance, and security best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel
• Solid understanding of Azure Infrastructure Services (Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel use cases, connectors, and integrations
• Experience with Defender XDR, security monitoring, and incident response workflows
• Understanding of cloud security concepts such as CSPM, CWPP, Zero Trust, and compliance frameworks

Professional Skills

• Strong customer‑facing and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
• Experience working in presales, consulting, or solution architecture roles
• Microsoft security certifications (preferred)
