Job summary

Driverlogistics in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, put-away, order picking, packing and outbound dispatch.

You will assign shifts, supervise operatives and drivers, maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety standards, and liaise with transport partners to ensure timely deliveries. Strong organisational and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and outbound dispatch.
• Assign daily shifts and tasks to warehouse operatives, forklift drivers, and material handlers based on workload capacity.
• Act as the single point of contact on the floor for urgent operational or driver‑coordination issues.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation audits.
• Track and resolve short/over shipments, pending transfer orders, and stock discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, accurate data inside ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, and daily output against operational targets.
• Onboard, train, and mentor new warehouse or logistics team members.
• Conduct performance feedback and support conflict resolution on the floor.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and proper manual‑handling procedures.
• Oversee facility security, cleanliness, and proper storage of materials (including hazardous goods where applicable).
• Perform routine equipment and machinery safety checks.
• Track KPIs such as turnaround times, delivery accuracy, and damage rates.
• Coordinate with transport partners, central warehouses, and internal customer service teams.
• Report shift updates, productivity metrics, and escalations to the Warehouse Manager.

• Safety, Compliance & Facility Upkeep

  • Perform routine equipment and machinery safety checks.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround times (TAT), delivery accuracy, and damage rates.
• Coordinate with transport partners, central warehouses, and internal customer service teams.
• Report shift updates, productivity metrics, and escalations to the Warehouse Manager.
