Job summary

TargetHR is seeking a recruitment professional in Bengaluru with 1–5 years of experience, or a thoughtful career switch who wants to grow quickly. You will work as a talent consultant, engaging with founders and hiring managers, and actively source and close candidates across multiple startups and product companies.

Expect to learn how hiring decisions are made behind closed doors, use data and AI tools to improve hiring, and build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in recruitment or a deliberate career switch into recruitment.
• A mindset of a talent consultant—understanding companies, founders’ mindset, and roles to find the right people.
• Comfort working with multiple companies and founders to learn how hiring decisions are made.

What this role is really about

• This is a full-time role for someone with 1–5 years of experience in recruitment — or someone making a thoughtful career switch into recruitment — and is serious about growing fast.
• You won’t be stuck doing just sourcing or coordination. You’ll work like a talent consultant — understanding the company, the founder’s mindset, the role, and then going out to find the right people.
• You’ll get to work with multiple companies, see how different founders think, and understand how hiring decisions are actually made behind closed doors.

What you’ll do day-to-day

• Work on real, active roles across startups and product companies.
• Speak to founders and hiring managers to understand what they really want.
• Source, screen, and engage candidates — thoughtfully, not blindly.
• Sell early-stage and upcoming brands with conviction, not just big names.
• Manage interview pipelines, follow-ups, and closures end-to-end.
• Use data, structure, and AI tools to get better at hiring every month.
• Build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
