Job summary

Navlakha Management Services in Vadodara seeks an experienced supply chain professional to oversee end-to-end operations, including procurement interplay, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and demand planning.

You will coordinate with QA, EHS, finance, and external partners to optimize costs, ensure OTIF deliveries, and implement GST-compliant procurement practices across units.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, logistics, warehousing and inventory control.
• Ability to plan demand, forecast needs and support S&OP processes.
• Knowledge of GST, import/export considerations and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain operations, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory costing and transportation decisions.
• Manage transport and warehousing costs across units to optimize OTIF deliveries.
• Liaise with QA, RA, EHS and finance for compliance and quality practices.
• Monitor GST compliance and documentation for imports/exports and NOCs.
• Track MIS metrics, drive cost savings and supplier performance.
• Supervise hazardous waste transport in line with EHS requirements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. He will have to familiarize with the product, manufacturing process & overall operation of the company which will help him in discharge of his given Responsibilities.

2. To be overall in charge of Supply Chain Management, Warehousing/Stores with Logistics management.

3. Transport management for finished product with regards to finalization of transporters, CHA & forwarding agents with agreements.

4. Overall management of the RM stores at all the units with optimized inventories.

5. Managing own transportation with regards to PAP & Acetic Acid for Unit-4.

6. Identifying the storage & warehousing needs both for raw materials & finished products.

7. Evaluating various modes of transportation with regards to both domestic supplies as well as imports & exports.

8. Assisting in the procurement policies with regards to inventory management & cost- effective transportation.

9. Tracking the import costs with regards to the cost of shipping & optimized duties payable.

10. Supply Chain management in overall & with regards to the key customers with OOR & ensuring for OTIF.

11. Liasioning for GST compliance in coordination with the finance team.

12. Coordinating with QA & RA for effective implementation for Quality practice in procurement & finished product distribution.

13. Compliance to NCB regulations with regards to Acetic Anhydride for obtaining & managing NOCs for imports.

14. Transportation management of Hazardous waste in coordination with EHS department.

15. Tracking costs & ensuring cost savings in overall supply chain management & logistics to be reported to management as part of MIS.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and demand planning.
• Strong understanding of domestic transportation, imports, exports, freight management, and customs clearance.
• Experience in demand forecasting, production plan validation, finished goods inventory management, and S&OP processes.
• Knowledge of GST compliance, import duties, and coordination with QA, RA, Finance, and EHS teams.
• Exposure to chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination, negotiation, problem-solving, and cost-optimization skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and ERP-based supply chain processes.
