Job summary

REGUL SOLUTIONS in Ankleshwar, Gujarat seeks an experienced Head of Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end operations for pharma, medical devices, and healthcare products. You will build a new scalable warehouse and nationwide distribution network with full P&L accountability.

You will oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, demand planning and export fulfilment, ensure GMP/GDP/ CDSCO compliance, and mentor a high-performing SCM team while driving digital transformation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in supply chain leadership roles, with pharma/healthcare exposure preferred.
• Experience establishing or scaling GMP-regulated warehouse and distribution networks.
• Deep expertise in procurement, inventory optimization, and export compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and demand planning for regulated healthcare products.
• Lead the setup and operation of a scalable warehouse and national distribution network with GMP, WHO-FIP standards.
• Drive end-to-end visibility of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and export inventories to minimize stockouts and obsolescence.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement strategy, 3PLs, transporters, and contract manufacturers for cost efficiency.
• Develop and track KPIs with ERP and WMS platforms to enable real-time decisions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, Sales, Finance, and Export teams to align SCM with business goals.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act, GDP, FSSAI, CDSCO across all SCM activities.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing SCM team emphasizing safety and operational excellence.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives including demand forecasting tools and automation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Supply Chain Management to lead and scale end-to-end supply chain operations for a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare products business. This role is critical in establishing and optimizing a new, high-efficiency warehouse and distribution hub, with full accountability for procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, demand planning, and export fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically design, implement, and manage end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and demand planning for regulated healthcare products.
• Lead the setup and operationalization of a new, scalable warehouse and national distribution network, ensuring compliance with GMP, WHO-FIP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Drive end-to-end visibility and control of raw material, packaging, finished goods, and export inventories to minimize stockouts, obsolescence, expiry, and working capital inefficiencies.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement strategy, and vendor performance—including third-party logistics (3PL), transporters, and contract manufacturers to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.
• Develop and execute supply chain KPIs and dashboards using ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS platforms to support real-time decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Sales, Finance, and Export teams to align supply chain strategy with business goals.
• Ensure 100% compliance with pharmaceutical and healthcare industry regulations (e.g., Drug & Cosmetic Act, GDP, FSSAI, CDSCO) across all supply chain activities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing SCM and warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives—including demand forecasting tools, predictive analytics, and automation—to enhance agility and responsiveness.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles, with minimum 10 years in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare FMCG environments.
• Proven track record of establishing or scaling warehouse & distribution operations for complex, regulated product categories.
• Deep expertise in procurement, inventory optimization, cold-chain logistics (if applicable), demand planning, and export compliance (e.g., IE Code, Bill of Lading, Incoterms).
• Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP MM/SD, Oracle SCM) and WMS/TMS systems, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and MIS reporting.
• Strong background in regulatory compliance, quality system audits (internal/external), and change control processes.
• Current or recent position: Head of SCM, VP, AVP, or Director-level with P&L responsibility and board-level exposure.
• Strategic mindset with strong leadership, negotiation, and change management skills in high-growth environments.
