In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the structural validation of critical components, working on complex systems such as expanders, centrifugal compressors, baseplates, control units, and complete auxiliary systems.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the entire simulation lifecycle, from initial load definition through to final structural validation.

A key priority for this position is the enhancement of analysis workflows, with a specific focus on driving efficiency through scripting-based automation. This role requires a professional who can maintain high standards of precision while demonstrating the flexibility needed to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced Finite Element Analyses (FEA) on structural and mechanical components
  • Define realistic boundary conditions, load cases and modelling strategies
  • Carry out:
  • Linear and non-linear analyses
  • Contact modelling (bonded, frictional, etc.)
  • Large deformation analyses (when required)
  • Perform dynamic analyses, including:
  • Modal analysis
  • Harmonic response analysis
  • Interpret simulation results with strong engineering judgement, identifying:
  • Critical areas (hotspots)
  • Stress concentrations
  • Potential failure modes
Technical Requirements (Mandatory)
  • Ability to:
  • Build reliable FEM models
  • Perform sanity checks and validation of results
  • Identify modelling errors and inconsistencies
