Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Develop Infineon’s shift-left methodologies such as top-level connectivity and power methodologies.
- Define data sources, data flow, develop, and continuously optimize the generator to maximize performance, feature set, and maintainability.
- Improve existing software modules, including refactoring and maintenance of existing code.
- Support our worldwide user community.
- Write technical documentation.
- Mentor junior developers.
Your Profile
You are best suited for this role if you have:
- Approximately 6+ years of experience in R&D within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience in architecting and developing complex, scalable software tools from idea to production with a strong focus on design architecture/patterns.
- Several years of work experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) or software design and implementation, or related technical areas.
- Strong programming skills in .NET, Python, C++ in UNIX environments; experience in Windows is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of digital design topics such as RTL generation, LEC, Linting, etc.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is advantageous.
- Fluent English skills; German language skills are a plus.
