Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in India is seeking a senior embedded software professional to contribute to requirements, architecture, and validation strategies. You will lead technical discussions, review artefacts, and own product quality while mentoring teammates in a multi-site setup.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in embedded systems, strong C/assembly skills, RTOS, and familiarity with safety standards. Experience with GNU, Tasking, WindRIVER and debuggers is valued.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in embedded system software development/validation.
• System level architecture, design and integration skills.
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures (16/32-bit) and RTOS.
• Familiarity with standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262, ISO21434 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements elicitation and definition phase.

• Evaluate change requests and analyze impact for planning.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Participate and contribute to requirements elicitation and definition phase of the project
• Contribute to product architecture Conceptualize and institutionalize develop/validation strategies and engineering practices
• Play an influential role in technical discussions
• Evaluate change requests to products, conduct analysis and derive impact for planning by team Conduct reviews of various artefacts [Requirements, Architecture,Design…] and recommend necessary actions
• Be a signoff stakeholder in all phases of the project Propose and evangelize initiatives Own overall product quality
• Mentor and train fellow colleagues

Your profile

• B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electrical/Electronics/ComputerScience/Instrumentation with minimum 15yrs of experience in Embedded system software development/validation in C, assemblylanguages & SDLC
• System level architecture, design and Integration skills
• Good knowledge of Microcontroller Architecture (16/32bit), real-timesystems
• Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262, ISO21434is desirable
• Acquaintance with development tool-chains such as GNU, Tasking, and WINDRIVER
• Active membership of Open source communities/technical forums isdesirable
• Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach etc.
• Proven ability to work with standard lab equipment’s oscilloscopes,logic analyzers, power benches etc
• Good team player in a multi-site work environment
• Ability to take ownership and work independently for new topics andlater define guidelines for team to follow
