Overview
Lutron’s Gurgaon team is seeking a technically driven professional to join our IT Security & Infrastructure function. As a Senior Specialist - Security & IT Infrastructure, you will leverage your deep expertise to solve complex business challenges, drive system stability, and deliver high-quality solutions that support critical business operations. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of skilled Computer Science and IT professionals, contributing to strategic initiatives, optimizing enterprise processes, and enhancing the efficiency of our global operations and overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily runbook activities which include reviewing logs and checking external sources for new threats Investigate and respond to phishing reports
- Monitor and respond to Lutron’s Security Awareness Inbox Review and resolve alert escalations
- Contact end users when alerts are seen on their desktops/laptops
- Provide security consultation on technology projects
- Perform vulnerability scans and drive the mitigation of found vulnerabilities
- Oversee penetration testing vendor and tests
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) administrator
- Execute sandbox testing of potentially malicious files and links
- Provide back-up support on facilitating the Security Incident Response Team Process (SIRT)
- Lead and provide directions to the team on the day-to-day deliveries of the team, manage stakeholder expectations.
- Coach and mentor the team members and plan their career development
- Plan the training and onboardings for new team members, and for current team members on new Areas / Modules
- Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values
- Collaborate with team members globally and with other IT department teams and their managers using strong written and verbal communication skills
- Gain knowledge of other IT functions to be able to understand the integration with the Web environment
- Mentor and guide peers and team members
- Identify and lead improvements to procedures as a part of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a 4-year engineering/technology degree
- Aggregate Percentage in your degree 60% or above
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in core cyber security
- Good understanding of network and system security principles
- Experience with security tools and technologies
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred
- Service mindset
- Keen eye for details
- A proactive attitude to process improvements and best practice solutions
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively
- Proven oral and written communication skills
