Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer specializing in Automation & Manual QE to strengthen our quality engineering efforts in Bengaluru. The role requires strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium (Java) and Playwright, plus the ability to craft robust test scenarios from requirements.

Ideal candidates will bring 4+ years in automation testing and 5+ years in manual testing, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Automation testing and 5+ years in Manual testing.
• Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries.
• Expertise in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for functional and regression testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Setting up or adopting existing testing best practices.
• Creating test scenarios and test cases from requirements.
• Developing and maintaining automation tests using Selenium (Java) or Playwright.
• Working independently and with cross-functional teams to deliver tasks on time.
• Willingness to learn and explore new technology stacks for test automation.

Senior Software Test Engineer (Automation & Manual QE Engineer)

MANDATORY: -

Minimum of 4+ years of Automation testing. and 5 years in Manual testing

Excellent skills in SQL

Must have:

• Overall, 5+ years of experience in Manual Functional Testing
• Minimum of 4+ years of Automation testing.
• Excellent skills in SQL
• Expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for functional and regression testing.
• Excellent skills in testing processes and methodologies

• REST service testing using Postman/Swagger
• Experience in Jira for task/bug tracking
