Job summary

Ford Quality Engineering seeks a Senior SDET to ensure reliability, usability, accessibility, and quality of enterprise web apps. You will focus on front-end automation with Cypress/JavaScript, validate UI across browsers, and drive quality improvements within Agile teams.

Responsibilities include building scalable automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD, and ensuring release readiness across the frontend stack. Collaboration with developers and product owners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with Cypress and JavaScript-based test automation.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, browser behavior, and client-side concepts.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with Java, Cucumber, TestNG, and Maven.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GCP Cloud Build or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience performing functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
