We are looking for a passionate and detail‑oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I) with 3–5 years of experience to help build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, an automation‑first mindset, and experience integrating automated testing into modern CI/CD pipelines.

As an SDET, you will work closely with developers, product managers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality software releases through robust test automation, continuous testing, and proactive quality practices.

Requirements

Programming* Python/Java/Javascript (strong proficiency required)

• Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOPS) Concepts
• Data Structures and Algorithms fundamentals (Good to have)

UI Test Automation Experience with one or more:

• Selenium WebDriver with PyTest
• Playwright with PyTest
• Cypress

API Testing Hands‑on experience with at least one or more of:

• REST APIs
• HTTP methods
• JSON/XML
• Postman
• REST Assured (Java) or Requests (Python)

Good understanding of:

• Authentication
• OAuth
• JWT
• Basic Auth
• API Keys

Version Control Experience with:

• Git
• GitHub
• GitLab
• Bitbucket

Database Testing Basic SQL knowledge including:

• SELECT
• JOIN
• GROUP BY
• Subqueries
• CRUD validation

Experience validating backend data.

Agile Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Knowledge of:

Defect Management Experience using:

Basic DevOps Knowledge Understanding of either of the below is a plus:
