Job summary

Quest Global is looking for a skilled software engineer to design and develop applications using Core Java/Swing for the Medical Devices domain and to build SPA applications with Angular and React. You will learn existing architecture across Core Java/Swing and cross-language components (C++, Perl, Python) to deliver cost-effective, sustainable solutions.

You will take ownership of features, fixes and enhancements while communicating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks.
• Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix based desktop applications using Core Java.
• Strong experience in UI development using Java Swing.
• Experience in Spring/Spring Boot.
• Hands on experience in Angular.
• Hands on experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Medical Device development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and implementing in Java.
• Unit testing experience using JUnit or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and UML.
• Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard.
• Hands-on experience in RDBMS and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ability to explore large code base and understand architecture and design.
• Ability to deliver without much supervision from lead/managers.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
