Job summary

Quest Global in Kerala, India is seeking a Java-focused software engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design, develop, and test Java-based applications in a microservices environment.

You will work across requirement analysis, architecture learning, feature implementation, and CI/CD, while collaborating with global teams and mentors. Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST, and Agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in design and development of Java-based applications.
• Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and Java implementation.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar tools for CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and test automation practices.
• Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix-based applications using Core Java.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and web technology stack.
• Experience working with Agile methodology and tools like Jira/Rally.
• Experience with Java Swing, Angular, Python and C++ is an added advantage.
• Experience in healthcare domain (Medical Devices, Imaging Platforms) and familiarity with DICOM standard is a plus.
