Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join a fast-growing team. You will work on STM32/ARM-Cortex-M4 based platforms, integrate RTOS and hardware drivers, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver robust device solutions.

The role emphasizes board bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization, with hands-on experience in Bluetooth/BLE, embedded web servers, and TCP/IP protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with STM32 or ARM-Cortex-M4 controllers.
• Hands-on with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr or similar).
• Low-level driver and BSP development, HW-SW integration.
• Experience with GPIO/UART/SPI/I2C/CAN/USB/Ethernet/ADC/PWM/Timers.
• Bluetooth/BLE stack integration and app development.
• Developing and maintaining embedded web servers for device configuration and monitoring.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT protocols.
• Board bring-up, debugging and performance optimization.
• Ability to analyze hardware schematics and collaborate with hardware teams.
• Debugging with JTAG, GDB, Trace32/Lauterbach, scopes, logic analyzers.
• Version control with Git.

Job description

• Strong experience with STM32 microcontrollers or similar ARM-Cortex-M4 controller
• Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, or similar.
• Expertise in low-level driver development, BSP development, and hardware-software integration.
• Experience with peripheral interfaces including GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, ADC, PWM, and Timers.
• Strong experience in Bluetooth/BLE stack integration and application development.
• Experience developing and maintaining embedded web servers for device configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, and related communication protocols.
• Experience in board bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ability to analyze hardware schematics and work closely with hardware teams.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB, Trace32/Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
