Job summary

Agiliad in Pune is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust firmware for 32-bit microcontrollers with RTOS and advanced communication protocols. Qualifications

Job description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust firmware solutions. In this role, you will work closely with 32-bit microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and advanced communication protocols to deliver secure, high-performance embedded systems.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in embedded system design and development using Embedded C.
• Working knowledge of CAN and J1939 protocols.
• Experience in Ethernet communication, TCP, and Socket programming.
• Hands-on experience working with 32-bit controllers (e.g., NXP, Infineon).
• Proven experience with RTOS-based application software and managing various types of controller memories.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and utilize debuggers and simulators for system verification.
• Solid experience with Unit Testing and Functional Testing.
• Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies to ensure robust protection of sensitive data and overall system integrity.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in software architecture, low-level device driver development, and hardware board bring-up.
• Experience designing or configuring Bootloader software and executing platform-based porting activities.
• Familiarity with a wide range of communication protocols including CAN-FD, UART, SPI, I2C, LIN, RS485, and Modbus.
• Proficient understanding of version control tools like Git, and exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Batch, Shell scripting).
• Strong alignment with industry coding standards (e.g., MISRA C) and project development best practices.
