Job summary

Stryker is seeking a skilled developer to create interactive 3D applications for medical technology workflows. You will combine Three.js, JavaScript, and WebGL to render STL models and scene graphs, while implementing 3D transformations and GLSL shaders.

Qualifications

What You Will Do:

Develop interactive 3D applications using Three.js, JavaScript, and WebGL. Work with 3D models, meshes, STL files, and scene graphs. Implement 3D transformations, coordinate systems, and matrices. Develop and customize GLSL shaders. Build UI–3D interactions using events, RxJS, and observers. Optimize 3D performance, responsiveness, and memory. Develop Python computational geometry and mathematical algorithms. Support image processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and measurements.

What You Will Need:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 4 – 8 years of experience Good knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python. Hands-on experience with Three.js, WebGL 2.0, and browser-based 3D graphics. Experience in unit testing and technical documentation. Experience with 3D models (STL), meshes, scene graphs, and transformations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with custom shaders, WebGPU, REST APIs, Azure Functions, and serverless Python. Strong knowledge of performance, memory optimization, and parallel processing. Familiarity with OpenCV, scikit-image, and classical computer vision algorithms.

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
