Job summary

Job description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid
What you will do:

Work with product development team and help them with requirements management and system engineering. Assist in the deployment of tools such as JAMA etc. Work closely as administrator with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts on use case for projects and their processes. Train people, execute day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the tools, qualification of the tools and associated processes. Perform and own tasks including, but not limited to: User account maintenance, create filters and custom reports or dashboards for each project, as needed. Write script/ software to customize workflows and create configurations. Manage release cycles and validate the software tools and upgrade, backup, and baseline the project folders within each software tool.

What you need:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field is preferred
  • 2 - 7 years of experience
  • Understanding of engineering lifecycle phases and design control processes and knowledge of Requirement Management and Test Management, Traceability.
  • Experience with software and hardware defect tracking process and develop software using Python or any other scripting language & ability to understand and interpret electrical design and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of JAMA workflows or similar tools like JIRA, DOORS, IBM SYNERGY, PTC INTEGRITY with experience of working in a SCRUM or Agile environment preferred
  • Ability to assess the impact of system and functional requirements on all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support software and product development, and change management activities
  • Knowledge of JAMA workflows or similar tools like JIRA. DOORS, IBM SYNERGY, PTC INTEGRITY

Work Flexibility Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
