Stryker Corporation in Gurugram is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET 8+, Angular, and TypeScript, with a focus on cloud-native architectures.
You will build microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems, deploy to Azure or AWS, optimize SQL Server, and ensure secure coding practices while collaborating across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and DevOps teams.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET 8+, Angular, and TypeScript. Build Microservices, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architectures for cloud-native solutions. Design and support solutions on Azure and/or AWS, including CI/CD and containerised deployments. Develop responsive Angular applications and optimise SQL Server databases and stored procedures. Support released products through production support, root cause analysis, bug fixes, and enhancements. Implement secure software development practices, including OWASP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAST, and DAST. Drive architecture reviews, code reviews, modernization initiatives, testing, and technical debt reduction. Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, and DevOps teams while mentoring peers and promoting engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 4-8 years of experience developing applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular, and TypeScript. Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures, Distributed Systems, and applying Design Patterns and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, database optimization, and performance tuning. Experience building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS, with a strong understanding of application scalability and reliability. Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, SSDLC, authentication and authorization, application security, and demonstrated problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and technical mentoring abilities.
Experience with event-driven and messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, AWS SNS, SQS, and EventBridge, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, automated quality practices, and software delivery lifecycle processes. Hands-on experience with OWASP Top 10, DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SonarQube, implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT-based authentication, and familiarity with SDLC, ALM, traceability, estimation, technical planning, regulated software environments, compliance requirements, and maintainability initiatives.

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
