Job summary

Merkle Italia in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. You will design scalable data architectures, manage ingestion and activation workflows, and integrate Data Cloud with MCP and other MarTech platforms for unified customer profiles and personalized experiences.

The role requires hands-on Data Cloud experience, strong SQL/Python/JavaScript skills, and collaboration with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud including ingestion, unification and activation.
• Strong identity resolution, consent management and customer profile stitching.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MCP, Journey Builder and Interaction Studio.
• Proficiency in APIs (REST/SOAP) and data connectors; data governance awareness.
• SQL, Python or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA privacy regulations and performance optimization.
