Job summary

Technology Operation Analyst

Vendor Management & Performance

Manage relationships and day-to-day operations for a portfolio of technology vendors, monitoring performance against SLAs, KPIs, and service commitments

Lead vendor business reviews (QBRs), maintain scorecards, and drive timely resolution and root-cause remediation of service issues

Maintain a centralized inventory of vendors, contracts, and relationship owners in Jira and Confluence

Contracts, Sourcing & Procurement

Maintain a forward-looking renewal calendar and lead renewal planning 90-180 days in advance

Create and manage purchase orders, and troubleshoot invoicing issues in partnership with Accounts Payable, Finance, and vendor billing contacts

Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and process documentation

Coordinate stakeholders, dependencies, and deliverables with minimal oversight, applying a project management mindset

Build custom reports and dashboards using tools such as Jira and Power BI

Partner with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights

Track and communicate KPIs across vendor performance, spend, and savings on a regular cadence

3-5 years of experience in technology vendor management, IT procurement, technology operations, or a related field

Working knowledge of technology contracts (SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements) and standard commercial terms

Hands-on operational experience creating purchase orders and troubleshooting invoicing issues end-to-end

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Power BI for tracking, reporting, dashboards, and documentation

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience building reports from operational and financial data

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience with vendor management, contract lifecycle, or procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba, ServiceNow)

Familiarity with cloud, SaaS, and managed services pricing models

Experience with software asset management (SAM), license compliance, or IT service management (ITSM) processes

Experience using AI tools or automation to streamline reporting, vendor management, or procurement workflows

Background in publishing, media, education, or another content/IP-driven industry
