Job Title: Vendor Management Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Vendor Management Specialist to support the day-to-day management and governance of professional services vendors. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure effective vendor performance, contractual compliance, risk management and utilisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day oversight and administration of Professional Services and Staffing vendors in line with the defined vendor management model.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Work with Business and Vendor teams to identify opportunities for optimal utilisation of staffing and professional services vendors.
- Support vendor governance activities related to contracts, performance, risk and compliance.
- Establish and maintain vendor performance metrics, KPIs and service-level expectations.
- Monitor vendor performance and support resolution of vendor-related incidents and escalations.
- Identify, assess and support mitigation of risks associated with critical professional services vendors.
- Prepare and maintain vendor performance documentation, job aids, templates and governance trackers.
- Publish and maintain monthly/quarterly vendor reports covering spend, headcount, projects and performance.
- Analyse vendor data to identify trends, utilisation gaps and areas requiring management attention.
- Support administrative and logistical activities related to the recruitment/interview lifecycle where required.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on vendor performance, risks, key activities and significant vendor events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to vendor management standards and processes.
Required Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Vendor Management, Supplier Management, Vendor Governance, Procurement Operations, Professional Services or related areas.
- Experience managing Staffing / Professional Services / Consulting vendors is preferred.
- Good understanding of vendor management and supplier governance practices.
- Experience in tracking vendor KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics.
- Exposure to contract management, vendor compliance and risk management.
- Experience in vendor spend, headcount and utilisation reporting.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technical discipline or equivalent experience.
