Job summary

Swish is building the next generation of food delivery in Bengaluru, creating a vertically integrated platform across kitchens, supply chain, technology, and delivery. You will help build backend systems powering ordering, kitchen, delivery and customer experiences, and own projects from problem to launch.

Collaborate with product, design and operations to solve real business problems, improve performance, and raise the technical bar. You will mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases and system design.
• Experience building and scaling backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Java, Python, Node.js).
• Good understanding of SQL, relational databases and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive to completion.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Review code, contribute to engineering standards and help raise the technical bar across the team.
