Xactly, a global leader in AI-driven Sales Performance Orchestration, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru. You will design, build, and scale cloud-native backend systems using Java/Spring Boot, and own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for microservices.

You’ll collaborate with global teams to deliver high-impact software for enterprise customers. You will work on data access layers with SQL databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL), implement robust testing and code reviews, and help drive

Formación

• 8+ years of software development experience or 5+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and MVC patterns.
• Strong database development with SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience building end-to-end CI/CD and automated deployments for microservices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsabilidades

THE OPPORTUNITY - Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing Engineering team that shapes the future of cloud-native enterprise platform architecture. You will collaborate across global teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to delivering high-impact, scalable software solutions for our enterprise customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Architect, design, and build scalable, high-performance microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, automate, and maintain end-to-end continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for microservices infrastructure.
• Design, optimize, and manage resilient data access layers using SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL key-value stores.
• Drive engineering discipline and quality through rigorous code reviews, automated unit testing, continuous deployment, and adherence to software architecture standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Management and global engineering teams to own features from concept and design to production deployment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 8+ years of software development experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years of software development and web architecture experience.
• Solid, hands-on proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and MVC architectural patterns.
• Strong expertise in database development and SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Demonstrated experience building end-to-end CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines for microservices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills, with a track record of applying strong engineering practices (unit testing, code reviews).

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience building modular, scalable systems with technologies such as Scala, NoSQL data stores, Hadoop, or Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet) and containerization technologies.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments within distributed, global engineering teams.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a track record of championing new engineering technologies.
