Job summary

Time Hack Consulting is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.

You will lead site execution, supervise structural works, coordinate with contractors and MEP teams, and drive planning, Sik planning and reporting to achieve milestones. This role requires strong leadership and clear communication within a dynamic construction team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities including RCC works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing and finishing.
• Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, slab casting and other structural activities while ensuring standards.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and labour teams to meet project schedules and productivity targets.
• Prepare daily work plans and monitor milestones to avoid delays and optimize resources.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and materials per specifications.
• Oversee finishing activities (flooring, tiling, painting, doors/windows) and snag closure.
• Verify site measurements, monitor material consumption and cross-check subcontractor bills.
• Forecast material requirements and coordinate procurement to avoid stoppages.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants and MEP teams to resolve issues and avoid clashes.
• Maintain DPRs, progress reports and inspection records; report deviations to management.
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Coordinate final inspections, snag clearance and project handover.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage site teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Lead day-to-day construction activities, including RCC works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing and finishing, as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Structural Works: Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, slab casting and other structural activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Contractor & Manpower Management: Manage contractors, subcontractors and labour teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to project schedules.
• Planning & Scheduling: Prepare daily work plans, monitor project milestones and coordinate resources to avoid execution delays.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct site inspections, verify workmanship and materials, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Finishing & Snag Management: Oversee flooring, tiling, painting, doors and windows, façade and other finishing activities; ensure timely snag closure.
• Quantity & Billing: Verify site measurements, monitor material consumption and check subcontractor bills against executed work.
• Material & Resource Planning: Forecast material requirements, raise indents and coordinate procurement to ensure uninterrupted site execution.
• MEP & Technical Coordination: Coordinate with architects, structural consultants and MEP teams to resolve technical issues and avoid service clashes.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain DPRs, progress reports, inspection records and other site documentation; report deviations and delays to project management.
• Safety Management: Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with applicable construction standards.
• Project Handover: Coordinate final inspections, snag clearance and handover activities to ensure quality completion.

• Measurement accuracy: Site measurements within 2% of central QS verification
• Timeliness: All measurements provided to billing QS within 48 hours of request
• Reporting: Daily quantity achieved report submitted every evening
