Job summary

Truway Machinery, a leading manufacturer and service provider of Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, invites a Senior Service Engineer to join the field service team. You will handle end-to-end installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown support and customer training across India.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, diploma or BE/B.Tech in relevant fields, and readiness to travel nationwide. Overtime and lodging allowances apply as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.
• 2–5 years of hands-on service experience in fiber laser machines.
• Willingness to travel Pan India on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new/refurbished Fiber Laser Cutting Machines at customer premises.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support; troubleshoot faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine calibration and parameter optimization.
• Train customers on operation, safety, and basic maintenance.
• Prepare service reports and coordinate with internal teams for quick resolution.

Job Summary: We are looking for a competent and customer-focused Service Engineer responsible for end to end machine installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown support and customer training for our Fiber Laser Cutting Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• A. Installation & Commissioning
  • 1. Installation, testing and commissioning of new/refurbished Fiber Laser Cutting Machines at customer premises.
  • 2. Complete electrical, mechanical, software configuration and laser alignment.
• B. Service & Troubleshooting
  • 3. Provide prompt on-site and remote technical support to customers.
  • 4. Troubleshoot and resolve faults related to Laser Source (IPG / MAX / Raycus), Cutting Head (Raytools / Precitec / WSX), Chiller, CNC Controller (Cypcut / Beckhoff / Fanuc), Servo Drives & Motors.
  • 5. Handle breakdown calls and ensure minimum machine downtime.
• C. Maintenance
  • 6. Perform preventive maintenance, machine calibration, and performance checks as per service schedule.
  • 7. Optimize cutting parameters and laser power settings for different materials (MS, SS, Aluminium).
• D. Customer Relations & Documentation
  • 8. Provide operator training on machine operation, safety, programming and basic maintenance.
  • 9. Prepare and submit Daily Service Reports, Installation Reports, and Machine History Cards in CRM / Service App.
  • 10. Coordinate with internal Service, Spare Parts, sales and R&D team for quick resolution.

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with Fiber Laser Cutting Machines 1kW to 12kW
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Chiller Circuit
• Knowledge of CypCut / CypOne Software, AutoCAD, Beam Alignment
• Ability to read electrical drawings & fault codes

Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent customer handling & communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently at field locations
• Willingness to travel Pan India at short notice
• Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler license preferred
