Job summary

Apexon in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior SDET for performance and automation testing. You will design and run load tests, automate test cases, validate APIs, and help raise quality across services in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in test automation and manual testing, strong communication, and hands-on Java or Python skills, Agile practices, and experience with databases and microservices. Join Apexon to help scale enterprise AI initiatives.

The Role:

As part of our global team, your role includes understanding the technical and functional landscape, leverage industry wide & home grown testing tools/frameworks, write automated test cases & perform manual testing to validate functional behavior, performance benchmarking and load testing. You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team. We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environments and willingness to go beyond to make a difference.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in test automation and manual testing
Expertise in load testing & benchmarking performance matrix
Experience in API testing
Working knowledge with any object oriented programming language such as Java or Python
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Comfort with Agile operating models
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with JBehave, Serenity, Zephyr
Experience with microservice architecture
Experience with Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, Sybase
Experience with AWS
Experience in Financial Services or Fintech e.g. experience with Payments domain a big plus
