Job summary

EY in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Consultant with SAP ABAP expertise to design, develop, and optimize ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will lead RICEF delivery, optimize data models with CDS and AMDPs, and enable SAP Fiori integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on ABAP development, performance tuning, and strong partnership with business users and functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven SAP ABAP development experience in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Hands-on with CDS views, AMDPs and SAP HANA data models.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, OData, Smart Forms and SAP Scripts.

Senior Consultant-National-Tech Consulting-CNS - TC - SAP - Bangalore

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP developments in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, Enhancements, and Workflows (RICEF objects).
• Create and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and HANA-based data models.
• Perform code pushdown techniques and leverage SAP HANA capabilities for performance optimization.
• Develop OData services and support SAP Fiori integrations.
• Work on enhancements using User Exists, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.
• Design and develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Support integration with SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and TM.
• Conduct technical analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and cross‑functional teams during implementation and support projects.
• Adhere to SAP development standards, documentation, and quality processes.
