Our Digital team at Azurity is building new capabilities utilizing cutting-edge Salesforce technologies. We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, hands‑on team member who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
The Senior Salesforce Tester is responsible for testing and validating Salesforce applications to ensure quality, performance, security, and regulatory compliance across Azurity's commercial and medical business processes. This role focuses on Salesforce platforms supporting HCP/HCO engagement, sales operations, patient support programs, regulatory requirements, and commercial excellence initiatives.
The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to identify defects, improve functionality, and maintain compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, Sunshine Act, and FDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for Salesforce applications.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage for functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
- Participate in test estimation, release planning, and risk assessment activities.
Functional & Regression Testing
- Conduct manual and automated testing of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Life Sciences Cloud functionalities.
- Validate HCP/HCO engagement processes, KOL management, consent management, patient support workflows, and compliance‑related business processes.
- Perform end‑to‑end validation of business workflows, data integrity, and system configurations.
- Verify territory alignment, call planning, sample management, omnichannel engagement, and commercial operations processes.
- Execute regression testing to ensure system stability across Salesforce releases and deployments.
Integration & Data Testing
- Test integrations with third‑party pharmaceutical platforms including IQVIA, Veeva, MedPro, SAP, Snowflake, and MDM solutions.
- Validate Salesforce APIs (REST and SOAP) and perform API testing using Postman.
- Verify Data Cloud integrations, data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, reconciliation, and security across integrated systems.
- Support testing of end‑to‑end data flows between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
Compliance & Security Testing
- Ensure HIPAA, GDPR, FDA, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements are met across Salesforce solutions.
- Perform role‑based security testing, user access validation, permission testing, and audit trail verification.
- Validate electronic records controls, consent management processes, and sensitive data protection requirements.
- Support compliance documentation and validation activities as required for regulated systems.
Performance & Automation Testing
- Use Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) or similar automation tools to automate Salesforce test cases.
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable automated test suites.
- Perform performance and scalability testing to assess system stability under peak workloads.
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize test execution, and validate Lightning Web Component (LWC) performance.
- Utilize basic Python scripting where applicable to support automation and data validation activities.
Defect Tracking & Collaboration
- Document, manage, and track defects using JIRA, X‑Ray, or similar test management tools.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release readiness activities.
