Job summary

SSD Recruitify Consultancy is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer for Salesforce Service Cloud. The role demands 8+ years of experience with Salesforce development or QA automation, including Apex/LWC, API testing, and enterprise test automation.

Location: PAN India with Bangalore preferred; full-time employment. You will design, develop, test, and support enterprise Salesforce apps, build automation frameworks, and integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Salesforce/software engineering or testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce Development and/or QA Automation.
• Understanding of Case Management, Service Console, Flows, OmniChannel, and Salesforce security.
• Experience with Salesforce Integrations/REST/SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise Salesforce Service Cloud apps.
• Work on Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, FSL/SMAX and custom apps.
• Develop/validate solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, APIs and Salesforce configuration.
• Handle Case Management, OmniChannel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, Service Console, Flows and automation.
• Develop/integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Perform end-to-end UI/API/integration testing (regression, smoke, functional).
• Build/maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• API and microservices testing using Postman, RestAssured or similar tools.
• Validate Salesforce customizations (Objects, Flows, Apex, LWC, Rules, Profiles, Sharing).
• Troubleshoot issues; collaborate with dev and business teams.
• Participate in Agile rituals; requirement analysis, test planning, reviews, releases.
• Integrate development/automation with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Contribute to quality, performance, security, and Salesforce best practices.
• Mentor juniors and contribute to engineering/testing standards.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Service Cloud. The role is suitable for professionals with expertise in Salesforce Development, QA Automation, or a combination of both.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud along with experience in Apex/LWC, Salesforce integrations, API testing, automation testing, and enterprise application testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise Salesforce Service Cloud applications.
• Work on Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, FSL/SMAX, and custom Salesforce applications.
• Develop and/or validate solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce Flow, APIs, and Salesforce configuration.
• Work on Case Management, OmniChannel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, Service Console, Flows, and automation.
• Develop and validate Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, and event-driven integrations.
• Perform end-to-end testing covering UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Build or maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Perform API and microservices testing using Postman, REST/SOAP APIs, or RestAssured.
• Validate Salesforce customizations including Objects, Flows, Apex, LWC, Validation Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and work closely with development and business teams.

Mandatory / Core Skills

• 8+ years of overall Salesforce / software engineering or testing experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
• Experience with Salesforce Development and/or QA Automation
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Case Management, Service Console, Flows, OmniChannel, and Salesforce security
• Experience with Salesforce Integrations / REST / SOAP APIs
• Experience with API / Integration Testing
• Good understanding of Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce platform capabilities
• Experience with Automation Testing

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are open to candidates from either of the following backgrounds:

1. Salesforce Developer:
Strong Service Cloud + Apex + LWC + Integration experience, with exposure to testing/automation.

OR

2. Salesforce QA / SDET:
Strong Service Cloud testing + Playwright + API/Microservices testing, with good understanding of Salesforce development concepts.

Candidates having experience across both Salesforce Development and QA Automation will be preferred.
