Job summary

Pran Surgicals / SISCO Medicals Device Private Limited in Tamil Nadu seeks a proven medical equipment sales professional to drive growth in surgical instruments and laparoscopic products. The role targets hospitals, surgeons and distributors, with regular visits and live demonstrations to secure orders.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be willing to travel extensively to grow the territory and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 25 years of experience in medical/surgical equipment sales.
• Experience in surgical instruments, laparoscopic products or medical equipment will be preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated and willing to travel extensively.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve sales targets for surgical instruments, laparoscopic products and medical equipment.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with hospitals, surgeons, doctors, distributors and dealers.
• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and healthcare institutions to promote products.
• Demonstrate surgical instruments, laparoscopic equipment and other medical products to surgeons and hospital staff.
• Generate leads, follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
• Coordinate with distributors, dealers and internal teams for quotations, orders, delivery and payment follow-up.
• Participate in OT demonstrations, product trials, exhibitions and medical events when required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements and provide feedback to management.
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
• Achieve assigned sales, collection and territory targets.
