Job summary

FLSmidth Pvt Ltd in India seeks a Senior Site Sales professional for Pumps, Cyclones and Valves to lead Northern India sales from Delhi/NCR or Jaipur. You will plan and execute sales activities, prepare techno‑commercial proposals, and build long‑term customer relationships.

The role requires knowledge of mineral processing, reading drawings, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work with distributors and customers across sites. Travel will be expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to specification, tenders, read/ understand drawings
• Knowledge of mineral processing, flow sheets, Krebs products or similar (cyclones, pumps & valves)
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel and work with distributors/customers across sites
• Experience in a technical or commercial role
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales activities to meet objectives across the geographical area
• Provide techno-commercial proposals including product selection
• Implement pricing strategies aligned with market conditions
• Develop and retain key customer contacts for long-term relationships
• Stay informed about market trends for long-term needs
• Travel to sites, meet customers and OEMs, maintain cordial relationships
• Consolidate market and competitor information to measure competitiveness
• Conduct client meetings representing technical and commercial parts of the sales process
• Build strong distribution networks and work through dealers to enhance reach
• Knowledge of Hydrocyclones is advantageous

Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future. Senior Sales role in Pumps, Cyclones and Valves based out of Delhi / NCR / Jaipur. It is a key position for Northern India region. The position will be reporting to the India Head.

Your responsibilities

• Plans and executes sales activities in order to meet determined objectives within the geographical area.
• Able to do product selection using selection program & provide techno commercial proposals
• Implements strategies within a determined price policy adjusted to the market situation to ensure that the determined goals and targets are met.
• Develops and retains key customer contacts to build long-term profitable relationships
• Stays well informed about market trends in order to conduct assessments of long-term market needs
• Travels to sites, meets customers , consultants, OEMs, generates enquiries maintains a cordial relationships, develops networking.
• Consolidate market and competitor information and track performance in all markets to measure competitiveness.
• Conducts client meetings to represent both the technical and commercial part in the sales process.
• Builds strong distribution networks and works through Dealers to enhance reach and sales.
• Knowing Hydrocyclones will be an added advantage.

What you bring

• 1) Ability to specification, tenders, read/ Understand drawings, manuals.
• 2) Knowledge of mineral processing, understanding flow sheets, knowledge of the Krebs products or similar products used in slurry applications. (cyclones, pumps & valves)
• 3) Knowledge on MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• 4) Ability to speak in local language will be added advantage
• 5) Relevant experience within a technical or commercial role.
• 6) Strong interpersonal skills, Networking ability and self driving , willing to work in a team
