Job summary

NES Technologies Pvt Ltd in Delhi is seeking an experienced rooftop solar engineer to plan, design, and oversee installations across residential, commercial, and industrial premises.

You will conduct site assessments, prepare proposals and BOQs, guide installation teams, and ensure compliance with MNRE, CEA, and DISCOM requirements. Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD/PVsyst/Helioscope is essential, along with client communication and project management.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years hands-on rooftop solar installation and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems (1 kW to 1 MW+).
• Deep understanding of net metering and DISCOM coordination.
• Familiarity with government subsidy schemes (PM Surya Ghar, MNRE).
• Ability to read SLDs, layout drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope for design and yield estimation.
• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

• Familiarity with mounting structures — GI, Aluminum, ballasted, and elevated structures
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLD), layout drawings, and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst, or Helioscope for system design and energy yield estimation
• Understanding of CEA regulations, net metering policies, and electrical safety standards
• Excellent communication skills — client-facing, verbal, and written
• Strong email writing skills for client proposals, follow-ups, and official correspondence
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
