Job summary

Inera Cropscience is seeking a Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate- USP in Gurgaon to perform fermentation processes using E. coli and yeast systems, generate seed cultures, and analyze data.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in fermentation, experience with recombinant strains, and the ability to work in rotational shifts in a lab-scale environment. Prior microscopy and cell staining skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform media charging, preparation, and cleaning for fermentation processes.
• Hands-on fermentation of E. coli and yeast expression systems, including production of recombinant proteins.
• Execute fermentation batch operations, including probe calibration, maintenance, and documentation.
• Generate and manage seed cultures for fermentation processes.
• Conduct microscopy, cell staining, and analysis of process samples.
• Analyze process data and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of fermentation utilities.

Who are we looking for

• B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech (Biotechnology/Microbiology) with minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Prior experience in fermentation of recombinant strains will be preferred, and should be flexible for working in rotational shifts, lab scale fermentation and microbiology.
