Job summary

Absolute, via its INERA platform, is seeking a Program Manager to drive cross-functional biotechnology initiatives from concept to execution. You will coordinate research, development, and commercial efforts, aligning R&D with regulatory, manufacturing, and partnerships.

This is a high-impact role reporting to founders and scientific leaders, offering autonomy and visibility within a leading bioscience company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or related; MBA advantageous.
• 6–10 years in biotechnology, life sciences, pharma, or biotech program management.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate research and innovation objectives into structured program plans with milestones.
• Drive execution across biotech programs spanning R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial.

Role Overview

This is a high-impact role working closely with the Founders, scientific leadership, and business teams to drive execution across some of Absolute's most strategic biotechnology programs.

As a Program Manager, you will orchestrate cross-functional initiatives spanning research, product development, commercialization, and strategic partnerships. You will ensure scientific programs move seamlessly from concept to execution by bringing together multidisciplinary teams, driving governance, removing execution bottlenecks, and maintaining rigorous program discipline.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with scientific and business leaders to translate research and innovation objectives into structured program plans with clear milestones, timelines, deliverables, and ownership.
• Drive execution across biotechnology programs, ensuring alignment between R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, product, and commercial teams.
• Establish robust program governance through operating dashboards, milestone tracking, risk management, and regular program reviews.
• Monitor program progress, proactively identify execution risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure delivery against commitments.
• Support technology transfer, product development, pilot programs, and commercialization efforts by ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
• Prepare concise program updates, executive reviews, and decision-support material for leadership and investors.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related discipline. An MBA is an advantage.
• 6-10 years of experience in biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, scientific program management, R&D operations, innovation management, or consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Excellent project planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex scientific information for diverse audiences.
