Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions in Pune, India seeks a Manual Testing Engineer with 3–5 years of QA experience to ensure software quality before release. You will understand business requirements, create and execute detailed test cases, identify defects, and ensure applications meet functional and quality standards.

You will conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI/API testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to QA process improvements to enhance product quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on manual software testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
• Good defect life cycle management and defect tracking experience.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Zephyr or equivalent defect-tracking tools.
• Basic to good knowledge of SQL/database testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.

We are looking for a Manual Testing Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet functional and quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Linux and Windows, Integration Testing, Cipher environment setup, Cloud environment setup skills, performance testing concepts, Troubleshooting skills
• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Perform UI and API testing as required.
• Validate application workflows across different browsers, devices, and environments.
• Participate in requirements review, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
• Good experience with defect life cycle and defect management.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Zephyr or equivalent defect-tracking tools.
• Basic to good knowledge of SQL/database testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a cross‑functional team.

Good to Have

• Experience working in web application testing.
• Knowledge of Selenium or any test automation framework.
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
• Experience working in Jira + Confluence environments.
