Job summary

Google's YouTube team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking a Senior Qualitative UX Researcher. You will join a multi-disciplinary UX group, conducting field studies, interviews, and other primary research to uncover user needs and drive product insights.

You will mentor junior researchers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to research-driven decision making across product development and strategy. Equity to be discussed within Google's broader UXR community.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience managing projects, and working in a large, matrixed organization.

You’ll play a critical role in helping your team understand user needs and will drive impact at all stages of product development, ensuring products are useful, usable, and helpful. In this role you will collaborate closely with Program Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, Data Science, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to drive multiple projects in a fluid environment. We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher (UXR) who is passionate about working with and analyzing surveys, uncovering qualitative insights, and implementing methods and AI tools to gather user needs and insights fast at scale. You will be driving the research agenda in close collaboration with cross-functional for Channel Memberships.
