Job summary

Dbiz.ai is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test coverage across Next.js web applications and native iOS/Android apps. The role uses Playwright for web automation and Appium for mobile automation, with focus on reliable frameworks, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with developers and manual QA to improve release quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and distinguish application defects from automation issues.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
• Review requirements and technical designs to identify testability concerns and coverage gaps.
• Document test plans, automation standards, execution results, and known limitations.
• Track automation coverage, test reliability, defect detection, and regression trends.
• Reduce flaky tests and continuously improve test-suite stability and execution speed.
• Support release validation and investigate production issues when necessary.
• Help manual QA engineers execute, understand, and expand automated test suites.
