Job summary

HVR Solar Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior PV System Design Engineer to lead the system architecture design for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects. You will optimize layouts, design electrical schematics, and select components to maximize energy yield and bankability.

Responsibilities include detailed energy yield simulations, creating SLDs and schematics, and coordinating with EPC teams for construction alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Energy, or renewable energy engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing utility-scale or C&I solar PV systems.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and HelioScope.
• Strong understanding of national and international electrical codes, IEC standards, and grid-connection requirements.
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) integration is a big plus.

• Generate optimal layout designs, single-line diagrams (SLD), and detailed electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with the EPC team to ensure engineering designs align with construction realities.
• Select and specify key components, including solar panels, inverters, transformers, and mounting structures.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and assist in the regulatory grid compliance approval process.
