Job summary

Headsup Corporation seeks a Senior Purchase Executive with IT procurement experience to manage end-to-end procurement, vendor coordination, and project material delivery in Thane. You will handle BOM-based purchases, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery for customer projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of IT hardware, channel ecosystem, and ERP-enabled procurement processes, with emphasis on BOM interpretation and commercial evaluation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of IT products based on BOMs, quotations, and project requirements.
• Procure IT infrastructure products including servers, storage & backup solutions.
• Procure switches, routers and networking equipment; firewalls and security products.
• Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, credit periods, freight, and delivery schedules.
• Verify vendor authorisation, product availability, warranties, and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Projects, Technical, and Finance teams.
• Review project BOMs to ensure correct make, model, specifications, and quantities.
• Check stock availability and lead times before placing orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to customer/project sites.
• Follow up with vendors until complete delivery.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders after required approvals.
• Track PO status and maintain procurement records; coordinate with Finance for invoice verification.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Purchase Executive with experience in IT System Integration / IT Infrastructure procurement. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, vendor coordination, commercial negotiations, purchase orders, and timely delivery of IT products and solutions for customer projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the IT channel ecosystem, OEMs, distributors, and project-based procurement.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Procurement

• Handle end-to-end procurement of IT products based on approved BOMs, quotations, and project requirements.
• Procure IT infrastructure products including:
• Servers, storage & backup solutions
• Switches, routers & networking equipment
• Firewalls & network security products
• CCTV & surveillance systems
• Access control systems
• Data centre equipment & racks
• UPS & power infrastructure
• Structured cabling & accessories
• IT peripherals & consumables

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, authorized distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
• Obtain multiple quotations and prepare commercial comparison statements.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, credit periods, freight, and delivery schedules.
• Verify vendor authorization, product availability, warranties, and licensing requirements.
• Identify alternate vendors for better pricing and availability.
• Maintain an updated vendor and pricing database.

Project Procurement

• Coordinate with Sales, Presales, Projects, Technical, and Finance teams.
• Review project BOMs to ensure correct make, model, specifications, and quantities.
• Check stock availability and lead times before placing orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to customer/project sites.
• Follow up with vendors until complete delivery.
• Resolve shortages, partial deliveries, DOA, damaged products, and replacement cases.

Purchase Orders & Documentation

• Prepare and release Purchase Orders after required approvals.
• Ensure PO terms match agreed commercial and technical requirements.
• Track PO status and maintain procurement records.
• Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Maintain documentation related to purchases, warranties, and software licenses.
