Jobgether is seeking a Senior Project Manager (IT) based in India to lead complex IT and digital transformation initiatives globally. You will own projects from initiation through implementation, overseeing cloud, infrastructure, software, and enterprise technology programs.

You will work with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors, driving measurable business outcomes, governance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering complex IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within global or distributed organizations.
• Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and modern project delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders, executive sponsors, technical teams, business functions, and external suppliers.
• Experience leading distributed teams and coordinating third-party vendors.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager (IT) based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-value IT and digital transformation initiatives across a global organization.
You will own projects from initiation through implementation, operational handover, and successful closure.
The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across cloud, infrastructure, software, and enterprise technology programs.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, business functions, and external vendors across geographically distributed environments.
Success will depend on your ability to manage scope, budgets, risks, timelines, governance, and measurable business outcomes.
You will also contribute to project management maturity by mentoring colleagues and promoting continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT and digital transformation projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and enterprise platform initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, success measures, and delivery plans.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, governance packs, dashboards, and regular status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, ensuring resources are aligned with project priorities and delivery objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and executive sponsors, providing clear and actionable updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams, translating complex technology concepts into business-focused outcomes and benefits.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant PMO standards, governance frameworks, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure, financial reporting, and alignment with approved business cases.
• Oversee vendors, contracts, Statements of Work (SoWs), and supplier performance to ensure successful delivery.
• Track benefits realization and measure the business value and operational improvements generated by projects.
• Lead, motivate, and support diverse project teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high performance.
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure successful project closure, documentation, lessons learned, and transition to operational ownership.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience delivering complex IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within global or geographically distributed organizations.
• Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and modern project delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders, executive sponsors, technical teams, business functions, and external suppliers.
• Experience leading distributed teams and coordinating third-party vendors.
• Strong expertise in project planning, governance, risk management, financial management, and delivery oversight.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and focus on measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective when managing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and complex delivery challenges.
• Strong understanding of organizational change and the impact of technology initiatives on business operations.
• Experience working within an enterprise PMO environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools.
• PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or an equivalent project management certification is desirable.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, influence decisions, and promote continuous improvement.
