Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to support a global client’s New Store Opening (NSO) program. This role focuses on PMO governance, execution oversight, and delivery standardization across multiple concurrent store rollout initiatives. The engagement is offshore, full-time, operating under a Time & Expense (T&E) model through the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a multi‑year strategic partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce PMO governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Ensure consistent execution methodology across all NSO projects
- Drive adherence to project lifecycle, documentation, and compliance standards
- Monitor project health through KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence
- Lead end‑to‑end project management for new store openings (planning to go‑live)
- Manage multiple concurrent NSO initiatives with strict timelines
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule constraints
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Act as a primary interface between client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
- Provide executive‑level reporting and status communication
- Facilitate governance calls, steering committees, and escalation management
- Align cross‑functional teams including IT, infrastructure, facilities, and operations
- Coordinate with vendors for site readiness, deployment, and launch activities
- Drive milestone tracking and accountability across all stakeholders
- Recommend and implement process improvements in NSO delivery
- Contribute to standardization, templates, and reusable frameworks
- Support transition toward a scalable, multi‑year delivery model
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, with at least 5+ years in a Senior PM role
- Strong experience in PMO governance and large‑scale program delivery
- Proven track record managing multi‑site rollouts / retail store openings / infrastructure deployments
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid)
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent PM tools
- Strong skills in risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Experience working in global delivery / offshore engagement models
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Retail / New Store Opening (NSO) programs
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Exposure to IT infrastructure, network deployments, or workplace technology rollouts
- Experience supporting PMO transformation or governance setup
