Job summary

The Hiring Company in Nagpur seeks an experienced Solar EPC Project Senior Engineer to oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and handover of solar EPC projects from mobilization to commissioning.

Ideal candidate will have 4–6 years in solar project execution, strong vendor and contractor management, and expertise in project scheduling, QA/QC, safety compliance, and MIS reporting to ensure timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of Solar EPC project execution experience.
• Hands-on exposure to solar project installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Knowledge of DC/AC systems, HT/LT works, inverters, SCADA, earthing, and power evacuation.
• Experience in contractor management, project planning, procurement coordination and progress monitoring.
• Familiarity with BOQ, DPR, MIS reporting, billing and QA/QC processes.
• Knowledge of safety standards and statutory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion from mobilization to commissioning and handover.
• Monitor progress against BOQ, drawings, DPR, timelines, and project schedules.
• Lead DC, AC, HT/LT, civil, structural, module mounting, inverter, SCADA, earthing and power evacuation works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, synchronization, and final handover.
• Drive closure of punch points, snag lists, and project documentation.
• Prepare MIS, weekly/monthly progress reports, and dashboards.
• Monitor project billing, measurements, certification, variation orders, and other commercial aspects.
• Identify risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage EPC contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams; conduct progress review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and statutory regulations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar EPC Project Senior Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and

completion of solar EPC projects from site mobilization through commissioning and final handover. The candidate should

have strong expertise in solar project execution, contractor and vendor management, project scheduling, commercial

coordination, quality assurance, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall planning, execution, and completion of Solar EPC projects from mobilization to commissioning and

handover.

• Monitor project progress against approved BOQ, drawings, DPR, timelines, and project schedules.
• Lead execution of DC, AC, HT/LT, civil, structural, module mounting, inverter, SCADA, earthing, and power evacuation
• works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, synchronization, and final project handover.

• Review drawings, method statements, work plans, inspection plans, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of critical materials at project sites.
• Coordinate with MSEDCL/DISCOM, CEIG, MEDA, consultants, clients, and other statutory authorities.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, manpower, materials, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Solar EPC project execution and management.
• Hands-on exposure to solar project installation, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Good understanding of DC/AC systems, HT/LT electrical works, inverters, SCADA, earthing, and power evacuation.
• Experience in contractor management, project planning, procurement coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Knowledge of project documentation, BOQ, DPR, MIS reporting, billing, and QA/QC processes.
• Familiarity with applicable safety standards and statutory approvals.
