Responsibilities

1. Drive Product Alignment: Be the design lead in your Trio team, working with Product and Engineering to shape the product and ensure it meets both business goals and user needs.
2. Deliver High-Quality Designs: Independently create and deliver high-quality designs efficiently. Facilitate design reviews and share your work with stakeholders at different stages of the project. Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately, providing support throughout the process.
3. Conduct User Research: Plan and execute user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analyses. Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and validate concepts. Champion a user-first approach and ensure it’s central to every design decision.
4. Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and tackle tough design challenges with creative solutions. Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Maintain high design standards, foster a positive team culture, and support the growth of your UX teammates through mentoring and feedback.
5. Develop Design Systems and Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to create reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that benefit the entire organization. Promote the adoption of the design system, conduct regular audits, and refine components based on feedback and best practices.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or master’s degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
2. 6+ years as a Product Designer; experience in small startups or working on complex products is a bonus.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in user-centered design methods.
4. Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma.
5. Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
6. Experience working in an Agile and fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to lead and mentor junior UX professionals in the team.
