TELUS Digital invites a Specialist for its AI Community governance and strategy program. The role operates across business, legal, and technology interfaces to translate regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps, ensuring ethical, transparent, and high-impact AI solutions.

Leading the governance and risk management efforts, you will shape model explainability, bias mitigation, and organizational literacy while enabling global collaboration across domains and languages.

Qualifications

• Native-language proficiency is mandatory.
• English proficiency at least B1 (Intermediate) is required to collaborate with the global community.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Roadmap Development: Identify high-value AI use cases and align them with long-term business objectives and ROI targets.
• Governance Framework Design: Build robust AI governance structures, including accountability models, policy guidelines, and ethical review processes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Lead cross-functional assessments to ensure alignment with global standards (EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST RMF).
• Ethical Oversight & Transparency: Develop rubrics for explainability and fairness, ensuring traceability and non-bias in AI decisions.
• Organizational Change & Literacy: Facilitate workshops and training to bridge the AI expertise gap and promote data-driven decisions.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law (Digital/Tech focus), MIS, or Ethics/Philosophy; MBA/JD preferred

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Strategic Roadmap Development: Collaborate with executive stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and align them with long-term business objectives and ROI targets.
• Governance Framework Design: Build and implement robust AI governance structures, including accountability models (RACI), policy guidelines, and ethical review processes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Lead cross-functional assessments to ensure alignment with global standards (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST RMF) and mitigate risks related to bias, privacy, and security.
• Ethical Oversight & Transparency: Develop rubrics for Model Explainability and Fairness, ensuring that AI-driven decisions are traceable, unbiased, and socially responsible.
• Organizational Change & Literacy: Facilitate workshops and training programs to bridge the "AI expertise barrier," fostering a culture of data-driven decision‑making and ethical AI adoption.

Qualification path

What You Bring (Mandatory Qualifications):

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law (Digital/Tech focus), Management Information Systems, or Ethics/Philosophy. An MBA or JD is highly preferred.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory to navigate regional legal nuances and lead local stakeholder engagements.
• English Proficiency: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) level English to collaborate with our global community and interpret international regulatory frameworks.

Strategy Experience:

2-3 years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or corporate governance with a focus on emerging technologies.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.
